In designing original signage for the Union College darkroom, I worked to create a collection which was both memorable and representative of the unique process of film photography. I developed photograms which conveyed the necessary information, embellished with images and objects which allude to photography and art in different ways. As the signs themselves went through the same chemical process as gelatin silver prints, they are an artistic nod to the complicated and rewarding medium.
